Contact EV Tariff — UK EV Tariff & Charger Research

Get in Touch

Questions about EV tariffs, home chargers, or grants? We read every email.

EV Tariff is an editorial site focused on UK electric vehicle tariffs, home charging, and the grants and policy changes that affect how much it actually costs to charge an EV at home. We are happy to hear from readers who have a question about a specific tariff, charger, or grant — or who have spotted an error in one of our guides.

Email: [email protected]

Please include as much detail as possible about your question so we can give a useful, specific reply. For tariff-specific questions, telling us your annual mileage, EV model, and charger make helps us answer based on numbers that actually apply to your setup.

What we can help with

  • Tariff questions — Which UK EV tariff is right for a given mileage / battery size / household pattern. We don't sell tariffs and we have no preferred supplier.
  • Grant and policy questions — Eligibility for the EV Chargepoint Grant, the Cross-Pavement Charging Grant, and the Workplace Charging Scheme.
  • Charger compatibility — Which home chargers actually pair well with Intelligent Octopus Go, OVO Charge Anytime, and similar smart-charging tariffs.
  • Corrections — If you spot an error in one of our guides, please tell us the URL and the specific issue. We update guides promptly when we get a correction.
  • Feedback on the site — Layout, accessibility, missing topics. We genuinely want to know what is unclear or missing.
Response time: We aim to reply within 2-3 working days. Rates and policy detail can move quickly (the 1 April 2026 rate reset is a recent example), and we double-check our answer against current supplier pages before sending it.
Do you offer one-to-one consulting on EV setup?
No. Our guides are written to be detailed enough that you should not need paid one-to-one advice. If you are stuck on a specific decision — tariff selection, charger choice, solar pairing — email us with the relevant numbers and we will reply with a researched answer.
Can I write a guest post for the site?
We occasionally accept editorial contributions from people with first-hand expertise in UK EV charging, energy tariffs, or solar self-consumption — for example, MCS-certified installers, energy researchers, or experienced fleet operators. Email us with a brief proposal and we will reply within a week.
I think a guide is out of date. How do I report it?
Email us with the URL and the part you believe is outdated. Tariffs, grant amounts, and supplier policies all change — we maintain a refresh cycle on the higher-traffic guides and prioritise corrections that affect real spending decisions.
Do you have a press contact?
For press, PR, and partnership enquiries, please use the same [email protected] address with 'Press' or 'Partnership' in the subject line. We respond to genuine press queries within 1-2 working days.
Why is there no contact form?
We prefer email so we can keep a proper thread on the answer. Contact forms tend to lose context and make follow-up questions harder. The mailto: link above will open your usual mail app.
